I research ethics in practice at the intersection of design and AI , and develop strategies and practices for industry experts to build sustainable, fair, and inclusive digital futures.
Recent projects highlight the governmental dimensions of prospective AI concepts, the repercussions of sensor involvements in caregiving situations, and the political aspects of translating socio-technical imaginaries of AI into technological practices.
My methodological toolset includes research through design methods, such as workshops, prototyping and role playing, and participatory ethnographic methods.
I am part of the ⇢ DCODE research network, a European Marie-Curie funded research network, PhD program and consortium of seven world-class higher education institutions working with stakeholders from industry, government, and civil society, to rethink design competences and practices for inclusive and sustainable digital futures.
